sports bra shopping + a giveaway!

I was 11 or 12 when I hopped on my black + hot pink Huffy 10-speed and biked to my friend’s to pick up a brown paper bag. Inside: My first (sports) bra. Our moms had conspired – because my friend wore a bra first – so I got a hand-me-down… and, was utterly embarrassed to bike home with that bag, certain that everyone knew what was inside. Ladies, if you were born in the late ’70s or early ’80s, you know which sports bra I’m talking about: JCPenny’s basic cotton-with-a-hint-of-spandex racerback that came in black, white, heathered grey and nude. The epitome of fashion! 😉 In the 25 years since… well, things have changed a bit! Today’s sports bras actually fit and have amazing support – as I found at a recent preview of the Title Nine Fit Fest (lucky me got to attend with my of my favorite local bloggers and friends, Hyedi and Jessie).
