eVent® is mico-porous waterproof membrane which is Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) basis waterproof film. There are billions of micro-porous per square inch on the membrane. Waterproof function is basis on direct venting system. The venting process is that water molecule is bigger than micro-porous, while moisture molecule is smaller than micro-porous, so moisture can vent instantly outside of fabric and resist water getting inside. eVent® is high performance waterproof materials because of its high water vapor and air permeability.
