This is a heavy white cotton petticoat with two layers at the hem. The upper frill is made from broderie anglaise, set beneath a line of pintucks and an inserted length of lace. There are three cotton covered buttons at the waist and a drawstring which gathers the front section of this garment. It is in great condition, with evidence of the bluing which was used in laundering to keep white articles looking white.
Sweet vintage white cotton petticoat circa the early 1900s. High waisted, with pretty pintucks at the bottom and lace trim. No labels.Good to fair
