This is a Canadian-built Lee-Enfield rifle no.4 mk1* in very good original condition, built at the Long Branch factory in Ontario and dated 1944 on the left hand side of the breech. This example has super original furniture, with fluted upper handguard and correct steel buttplate. The metalwork retains most of it's original finish and it is fitted with the late-war Mk3 ladder sights, detachable 10 round magazine and genuine wartime webbing sling. This rifle will cock and dry-fire and fully strips and also comes with a couple of inert .303 rounds. Canadian Long Branch marked No4 'spike' bayonet also available from £30, no extra postage. Deactivated in the UK with proof-house certificate.
