We are describing four different pinch grasp patterns: Pad to Pad grasp, Tip to tip grasp, Three Jaw Chuck grasp, and Key grasp (Lateral grasp). These pinch grasps are needed for precision and dexterity in fine motor tasks. We used clothes pins to demonstrate each grasp and you can strengthen pinch strength using clothes pins, too.
