F.P. Journe adjustable deployant buckle

This F.P. Journe adjustable deployant buckle is a seldom-seen, ingenious adaptation of the brand's classical deployant. Made out of platinum, it has different positions which can easily be adjusted while the watch is on the wrist.  The buckle has 8 positions, separated by 1mm. By turning the clasp's central disc, up to an 8mm extension can be created - a useful and distinctive addition to your Journe watch. On the outer section of the buckle are engraved F.P. Journe's distinctive Arabic numerals, numbered for 1 to 8, with an arrow pointing at the selected setting.  The F.P. Journe signature and the words ‘Invenit et Fecit’ are also inscribed on the outside of the buckle. The second part of the signature, latin for ‘Invented and Made’ or more literally 'Designed and built by F.P. Journe', is executed in classic F.P. Journe style - a nod to signing conventions of a century ago. An unusual deployant, sold at some of the brand's boutiques around the world, we hope it will complement an existing F.P.
