This amazing suit is the epitome of the early 1960s by Bobbie Brooks. It features a rich eggplant purple color of cotton linen blend with slubs, functional fabric buttons, pointed collar, 3/4 length sleeves, removable shoulder pads and faux pockets. The skirt is straight, fully lined, with side metal zipper and button and a kick pleat on the back. The perfect Mrs. Maisel suit! This suit was originally a periwinkle color but had pink color bleed so I used Rit Dye and the dye came out perfect! Hand washed multiple times in vinegar in cool water and then in Eucalan Delicate Jasmine and air dried. Hand washed in cool water using Eucalan Delicate Soap (Jasmine) and air dried. All my items in my shop have been washed multiple times - special care is taken if mothballs were used in the garment’s storage history. Each item is hand washed and air dried just prior to shipping. Flaws: a small amount of rust on the zipper not an issue. Top Measurements: Bust: up to 38” Waist: up to 34” Length: 18” Sleeve Length: 17 3/4” Skirt Measurements: Waist: 26” but the button could be moved 1/4” Hip: 38” Length: 27 1/4” All items are hand washed, air dried and mended (if there is anything) before arriving to you unless otherwise noted. All sales are final. ***Some color variations are expected with the garment due to different lighting. I do my best to honestly note any flaws; however I may miss some.
